Thank you for shopping with Tangled Trails Outdoor Gear. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle shipping and delivery for orders placed on https://tangledtrailsgear.com.
1. Processing Times
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.
- During peak seasons, sales, or product launches, processing times may be slightly longer.
You will receive an order confirmation email after you place your order, and a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped (including tracking information, if available).
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We ship worldwide.
Estimated delivery times (after your order has been processed):
- Domestic (within our primary shipping country): typically 3–7 business days, depending on the shipping method chosen at checkout.
- International: typically 7–21 business days, depending on the destination country, customs processing, and carrier.
These timeframes are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed. Weather, customs inspections, carrier delays, and other factors outside our control may impact delivery times.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Shipping method selected
- Delivery address
- Total order weight/size
Any available promotions (such as free or discounted shipping) will be clearly displayed at checkout when applicable.
You will see the final shipping cost before completing your purchase.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes, when available:
- The carrier name
- A tracking number
- A link to track your shipment
Please allow up to 24–48 hours after receiving the tracking number for tracking information to update in the carrier’s system.
5. International Shipping
We ship to most countries worldwide.
For international orders:
- Delivery times vary depending on destination and local postal services.
- Some destinations may experience additional delays due to customs clearance or local holidays.
- Certain destinations may be temporarily unavailable due to carrier restrictions or service interruptions. If we are unable to ship to your location after you place an order, we will contact you and issue a refund.

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International Orders)
For international shipments:
- Customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, and other fees may be charged by your local customs office.
- These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping rates (unless explicitly stated at checkout).
- You are responsible for paying any such fees required by your country to receive your shipment.
We cannot predict the exact amount of these charges, as they vary by country and order value.
If you refuse to pay customs fees and the package is returned to us:
- We may refund the product cost only, minus any original shipping costs and any return or handling fees charged to us by the carrier,
- Provided that the products are returned in good, resellable condition.
7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate at the time of purchase.
- We are not responsible for delayed, lost, or undeliverable packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can reship it to a corrected address; however, you may be responsible for additional shipping charges.
If you realize your address is incorrect after placing an order, contact us immediately at customerservice@tangledtrailsgear.com with your order number and the correct address. If your order has already been shipped, we may not be able to change the address.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Once an order has been handed over to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. However, we will always do our best to assist.
Lost packages:
- If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive your package, please first check with neighbors, building management, or your local post office/carrier.
- If the package cannot be located, contact us at customerservice@tangledtrailsgear.com with your order number. We can help you initiate an investigation with the carrier.
Damaged items:
- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- Include your order number and clear photos of:
- The damaged item(s)
- The packaging (inside and outside)
We will review the case and work with you on a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
9. Order Changes & Cancellations
We begin processing orders as quickly as possible.
- If you need to change or cancel your order, please email customerservice@tangledtrailsgear.com with your order number as soon as possible.
- We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once an order is placed, especially if it has already been processed or shipped.

10. Pre-Orders and Backorders
From time to time, certain items may be offered as pre-orders or placed on backorder.
- Estimated ship dates will be shown on the product page when available.
- Your payment may be captured at the time you place your order to reserve your item.
- If there are significant delays beyond the estimated ship date, we will notify you via email with updated information and options.
